Bob Marley remix album gets family's approval

And his anniversary album gets a unique release

Several renowned DJs have remixed classic Bob Marley tracks on the first remix album to be approved by the legendary reggae artist's family.

'Roots, Rock, Remixed' is due out on July 24 via Quango/rockr, and features remixes from DJ Spooky and Afrodisac Sound System, among others.

The tracklisting is:

Meanwhile, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Marley’s album 'Exodus', limited edition copies of the recording will be available on USB memory stick via Marley’s [url=http://www.bobmarley.com ]official website[/url] -- making it one of the first albums to be released in this format.

'Exodus' was originally released on June 3, 1977, and stayed in the UK chart for 56 consecutive weeks.
