Bob Mould, Mountain Goats' John Darnielle for Noise Pop 2009
Further additions are made to San Francisco festival bill
Bob Mould, Thao, The Ohsees and Sleepy Sun have been added to the line-up for this year’s Noise Pop Festival, taking place February 24-March 1 in San Francisco, CA.
John Darnielle of The Mountain Goats will also take part in “song and conversation” as part of a special lecture event ‘Talking Music’.
They join the likes of Stephen Malkmus, French Kicks, Ra Ra Riot, Martha Wainwright, Antony & The Johnsons and New Pornographers frontman AC Newman at the event which is similar to Austin's South by Southwest and New York’s CMJ, with a film festival, panel discussions, and other industry-related events.
Noise Pop Festival badges are on sale now at www.noisepop.com/2009. Badges grant the owner entry to all general admission Noise Pop Festival events and are priced at $150 each with a 10% discount being offered until January 12.
