GEORGIA ON BOBBY'S MIND
BOBBY BROWN has been ordered to stay in GEORGIA following his arrest last week on traffic and drugs offences, until he stands trial in on November 25.

As reported last week on NME.COM, the singer was taken to Atlanta City Jail. He was charged with possession of marijuana, speeding and driving without licence or proof of insurance.

He was also the subject of a five-year-old warrant stemming from his arrest in DeKalb County.

The Atlanta Journal & Constitution reports that trial date was set yesterday (November 12) for November 25 after negotiations between prosecutors and Brown's attorneys broke down.

DeKalb State Court Judge Wayne M. Purdom ordered him to remain in Georgia until the trial, and also cited him for contempt of court, for failing to appear at a hearing in February 1997 on the 1996 traffic charges.

He posted $10,000 bond in DeKalb County Jail.
