Judge orders Bobby Brown arrest

The singer fails to appear in court

A judge has ordered the arrest of Bobby Brown after he failed to appear in court.

Brown alledly owes $11,000 (£5,800) in outstanding child support to children from a former relationship.

Massachusetts judge Paula Carey said that Brown’s current problems did not negate his other responsibilities.

Last month, Whitney Houston filed for divorce from Brown after 14 years of marriage.

The BBC reports that Brown’s attorney Phaedra Parks said: “It’s just a very difficult time for him, as you can well imagine.

“The media is very aware of this very public divorce that’s going on right now. It’s unfortunate we find ourselves back in Boston on this matter.”

The case continues.
