Tabloid Hell: Bobby Brown takes Whitney Houston to court
He says ex-wife won’t let him see their teenage daughter
Bobby Brown has gone to court in California to try to overturn a ruling that gave his ex-wife Whitney Houston sole custody of their teenage daughter.
The ex-New Edition-turned-solo star went to court in Orange County today (August 31) to try to get a judge to overrule the court’s decision, as he says he hasn’t seen his 14 year-old daughter since June.
Brown also said it was unlikely that he would see his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, anytime soon, saying ex-wife Whitney Houston has attempted to eliminate me from Bobbi Kris' life".
For her part, Houston says Brown was "almost totally uninvolved” in taking care of their daughter.
Brown will reappear in court on October 22 to plead his case, while Houston will give her required deposition via video from Atlanta where she is currently living. Houston moved to the Southern city with her daughter in order to record her new album.
Houston did not appear in court today.
