HOUSTON, I HAVE A PROBLEM!
BOBBY BROWN was rushed to a NEW JERSEY hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning (August 8) after he collapsed in his home recording studio.

Wife Whitney Houston put in a call to the emergency services shortly after 3am (EST) and accompanied him in an ambulance to the Casualty unit of Morristown Memorial Hospital where he was treated for around 90 minutes before being released.

A spokesperson told the New York Post that Brown was now "fine" and blamed the "mind-boggling" heat, humidity and Brown's own over-work for his collapse.

"He was literally working non-stop for three to four days recording his new album. He was getting in the groove and wasn't prepared for the brutal heat," she said. "He hadn't been getting enough fluid and basically he was light-headed."

While being treated, Brown refused to give a urine or blood sample. "He was feeling better by the time he got there and he didn't feel it was necessary," the spokesperson added when asked to comment on the refusal.

Brown is now "going to get some rest and go back to recording".
