Bombay Bicycle Club kicked off day two the NME/Radio 1 Stage today (August 23).

The youthful north London four-piece played to a Reading Festival crowd eager to get dancing, and their energetic brand of indie-pop didn't disappoint.

Despite having only released one single-proper, the band had large parts of the audience singing along to nearly all of their songs.

After opening with unreleased track 'What If', they launched into 'Ghost', from 2007's 'How Are We EP', with frontman Jack Steadman looking relaxed as he sipped water in between singing the song's lyrics.

The biggest cheer of the set came during 'How Are You', as the band were joined onstage by a friend dressed in a panda costume. While the band carried on playing the song regardless, the panda headbanged along, before running offstage at the song's end.

Bombay Bicycle Club played:

'What If'
'Ghost'
'Open House'
'Evening/Morning'
'How Are You'
'Cancel On Me'
'The Hill'
