Bombay Bicycle Club have joined the bill for Blur's special one-off show in London's Hyde Park to celebrate the end of the Olympic Games this summer.

The huge outdoor show takes place on August 12 to coincide with the games' closing ceremony and also features New Order and The Specials.

Yesterday (June 11), The Who, Take That, George Michael and Emeli Sande were all confirmed to perform at the official closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.

As well as this, Duran Duran, Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics will also play a huge show in London's Hyde Park to coincide with the start of the Olympics on July 27.

As well as their appearance with Blur, Bombay Bicycle Club have a busy summer of touring planned, with appearances at Benicassim and Reading and Leeds Festivals among their booked slots.

They released their third album 'A Different Kind Of Fix' in August last year and you can watch the band giving NME a track-by-track guide to the album by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

Bombay Bicycle Club are also playing at this year's T In The Park, which is taking place July 6-8 in Balado Park, Kinross-shire. To check the availability of T In The Park 2012 tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
