Bombay Bicycle Club have added a Liverpool show to their 2014 UK tour.

The band will play Liverpool O2 Academy on March 15, 2014, with tickets for the new show on sale now. Bombay Bicycle Club will start their 16 date tour in Leeds on March 2, including a homecoming show at London's Brixton Academy on March 13, which is now sold out. Rae Morris will support at all dates.

The band recently unveiled a brand new song, 'It's Alright Now'. The song is the second to be taken from the London band's fourth album, 'So Long, See You Tomorrow', which is released on February 3, 2014. The song follows first taster track 'Carry Me'.

Speaking to NME, frontman Jack Steadman revealed how exploring the globe helped him personally, as well as providing influence for new songs. "I think the travelling gave me a sense of wellbeing rather than any direct musical influence," Steadman says. "Also, we were getting more inspired by samples. They become the springboard for your song and, whether it’s an Indian song or something with Thai chanting, you should never deny that inspiration just because it sounds silly or because the thought of it is weird."

Bombay Bicycle Club will play:

Leeds, O2 Academy (March 2, 2014)
