Bombay Bicycle Club are heading for their first ever Number One on the Official Albums Chart at this week's midway stage with their new album, 'So Long, See You Tomorrow'.

Official Chart Company data reveals that the band are ahead of US metal band Within Temptation, currently at Number Two with their new LP 'Hydra'. The final chart will be revealed on BBC Radio 1 this Sunday (February 9).

There are seven other new entries on this week’s Official Albums Chart Update with Maximo Park new at Number Six today (February 5) with their new album 'Too Much Information'. Broken Bells' 'After The Disco' is new at seven. Meanwhile, Seth Lakeman is new at Number Nine with his new album 'Word Of Mouth'. Other new entries are due from Suzanne Vega (22), Augustines (30), Tina Turner (34) and Behemoth (36).

Elsewhere, in the Official Singles Chart, Clean Bandit's two-week reign at the top spot looks set to continue with hit single 'Rather Be' currently 11,000 sales ahead of 'Dibby Dibby Sound' by DJ Fresh, Jay Fay and Ms Dynamite.
