Birdy to cover Bon Iver, The National, The xx on debut album
15 year old singer Birdy – real name Jasmine Van den Bogaerde – is set to release her debut, self-titled album on November 7.

The release will come after her debut single, a cover of ‘Skinny Love’ by Bon Iver - pictured above - which was released earlier this year, as well as its follow-up ‘Shelter’ and next release ‘People Help the People’ which is out on October 31.

As well the YouTube phenomenon's Bon Iver cover - which has so far received over five million plays on the online video site - the album will also see Birdy tackling songs originally performed by Phoenix, The National, The Postal Service and The xx.

Recorded with producers Rich Costey (Muse, TV On The Radio), James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons) and Jim Abbiss (Adele, Arctic Monkeys), of the album the singer has said:

I'm so excited to be releasing my very first album. I’ve had so many amazing experiences in the past year. It has all felt like a dream come true. I just can't wait for everyone to hear it.
