Bon Jovi plane involved in accident

Bon Jovi were involved in an aeroplane accident yesterday (January 21).

The band and their touring staff escaped injury when the plane they were on skidded off a runway after landing in severe weather in Canada.

The Boeing 707 was carrying 14 passengers when it overshot the landing strip at Hamilton International Airport.

According to BBC News, Bon Jovi were landing in Ontario having travelled from Buffalo, New York where they played on Friday (February 20).

Their spokeswoman said that the band’s forthcoming shows at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre were expected to proceed as scheduled.
