A man has been arrested after allegedly stealing $100,000 (£61,270) worth of jewellery from Jon Bon Jovi's home.

The Bon Jovi frontman was one of three residents of Beachwood, New Jersey who was targeted by the thief, who took a total of $500,000-worth of goods from properties in the area, Reuters reports.

Nicholas Tracy, 21, has been arrested by Middletown police in connection with the incidents after apparently being found hiding in the bathroom of one of Bon Jovi's neighbours.

Tracy has been charged with four counts of third degree burglary and three counts of second degree theft.

Bon Jovi are due to headline Hard Rock Calling in London on June 25 and will also play a string of other UK gigs this summer.
