JON DON JOVI!

The rocker follows in the footsteps of music legends like Michael Jackson and Barry White...

JON BON JOVI is the latest pop star to be confirmed to address the OXFORD UNION, speaking to the students on June 15.

The band are currently on their 'One Wild Night' tour and will be in the UK for gigs next week, starting at Glasgow Hampden Park on June 8.

The singer told the BBC: "I do have a bit of experience performing in front of crowds but this audience does present a whole new set of challenges."

Michael Jackson, Barry White and Nana Mouskouri have all previously addressed the Union.

"It's the same feeling that has led me to start at the bottom as an actor and prove myself - I'm not frightened of failure, I'm frightened of standing still," Jovi said.

The president of the Union, Amy Harland, said: "Mr Bon Jovi has always been a favourite amongst the Oxford students. We can't wait to hear about his experiences performing across the world and his views on the modern world of music."
