Will Oldham turns magazine designer

Bonnie 'Prince' Billy lends a hand to Coppola

Will Oldham turns magazine designer
Will Oldham aka Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy has turned his hand to magazine design, guesting as a designer on Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope: All-Story magazine.

The magazine has been in circulation for ten years, and each issue features a guest designer, with previous guests including David Byrne, David Bowie and director Gus Van Sant.

The Oldham-designed issue includes contributors such as Woody Allen, and the cover features a photograph taken by Oldham himself as well as a written introduction.

“It's really magnificent to imagine this issue as a cocktail party at which all of the contributors, word and image, are present,” he writes “add a bowl of keys and some mushroom cookies and I am there.”

He releases the single ‘Strange Form of Life’ on March 15.
