U2 frontman Bono is set to edit the July issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
The singer will guest edit the magazine’s Africa-themed issue, which is expected to feature stories of the continent’s AIDS epidemic and poverty crisis. The endeavor will bring attention to his Project RED campaign, which aims to raise funds for Africa’s humanitarian effort.
It will be Bono’s second stint as a print media editor in a year. Last May the 46 year-old rocker guest edited The Independent newspaper.
He was recently snubbed by North Dakota when state lawmakers rejected a resolution to honour him for his advocacy of debt relief for impoverished nations.
