Windows boss also tries to help out Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton

Microsoft boss Bill Gates has begged U2 and Jay-Z for a job.

In a spoof film Gates made for the Computer Electronics Show, which took place in Las Vegas last weekend (January 6), he plays the game Guitar Hero down the phone to Bono, who tells the Microsoft founder that “all positions are filled” in the band already.

Gates, who is stepping down from his daily role at Microsoft in July, also lays down some rhymes in a studio with Jay-Z on production duties, then offers his services to US Democrat hopefuls Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Gates’ spoof video is available to watch on YouTube now.
