Bono tries his hand at journalism

Bono will begin writing a regular Op-Ed column for the New York Times this weekend.

The U2 frontman's first column is set to appear on Sunday (January 11), and it will also be accompanied by a podcast, reports the Associated Press. The column will cover a broad range of topics, according to the New York Times.

Bono said it was "an honour" to be writing for the renowned publication, adding that he's "never been great with the full stops or commas."

Meanwhile, U2 are preparing to release their twelfth studio album 'No Line On The Horizon' in March, as previously reported.
