They knock Dirty Pretty Things off the top

Boy Kill Boy’s ‘Civil Sin’ has topped the NME Chart, knocking Dirty Pretty Things’s ‘Deadwood’ off the top spot.

There were two new entries in the chart - Scot rockers Franz Ferdinand return after at Number Nine with the fourth single from ’You Could Have It So Much Better’[B, [B]’Eleanor Put Your Boots Back On’ while Josh Homme’s Eagles Of Death Metal enter the chart at Number Ten with ‘I Want You So Hard’.

This week’s NME chart is:

2. Dirty Pretty Things - ‘Deadwood’
3. Razorlight - ‘In The Morning’
4. Metric - ‘Monster Hospital’
5. The View - ‘Wasted Little DJs’
6. Panic! At The Disco - ‘Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have With Her Clothes On’
7. The Young Knives -‘Weekends And Bleak Days’
8. Futureheads - ‘Worry About It Later’
9. Franz Ferdinand - ‘Eleanor Put Your Boots Back On’
10. Eagles Of Death Metal - ‘I Want You So Hard’


Will Boy Kill Boy hold onto the top spot when Kasabian return next week with ‘Empire’? There is also strong competition from The Rapture who also return next week.
