Singers Brandy & Monica are set to collaborate again, 14 years after they teamed up for the 1998 duet 'The Boy Is Mine'.
The pair visited a recording studio in Miami on Saturday (January 7) to work on a brand new song, with Brandy - pictured above - telling her fans on Twitter: "Wonderful night in the studio! I wasn't 100%, but I gave it my all and it turned out great! Just a little more raspy than normal... I love you so much Mo. Thank you!"
Jam! Showbiz reports that Monica also wrote about the session on Twitter, tweeting a picture of both of the singers together, commenting on the fact that it had been 14 years since they last worked on a track together, adding: "We have Both Been Blessed Beyond Measure".
'The Boy Is Mine' reached Number Two in the Official UK Singles Chart upon its release in 1998 and won a Grammy for the Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. It was the biggest selling song of 1998 in the United States, selling over 2.5 million copies.
