Brandy reaches settlement with crash victim's children
She will pay $300,000 each to Awatef Aboudihaj's two children
Brandy has settled a wrongful death suit with the children of a woman who died in a car accident in 2006.
Awatef Aboudihaj's two children will receive a $300,000 each in the settlement, following the death of their mother after her car was struck in the rear by Brandy’s on a Los Angeles freeway.
At the time of the accident, the woman, who was 38, was en route to one of her two waitressing jobs.
Aboudihaj’s husband Marouane Hdidou rejected his part of a $1.2 million settlement in February, reports TMZ.
