Brendan Benson plots US tour
The Raconteurs man will also preview his new album online
Brendan Benson has announced that he will embark on a US tour later this month.
The singer-songwriter, who trades vocal duties with Jack White in The Raconteurs, will be supporting his forthcoming solo album 'My Old, Familiar Friend', which is due out in the US on August 18.
Benson will kick things off on August 17 at New York's Bowery Ballroom and conclude the first leg of his tour at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on September 12.
Benson has also announced that he will stream his new album in its entirety on NPR.com beginning tomorrow (August 4).
In addition, he is slated to perform the album's lead single, 'A Whole Lot Better', on 'The Late Show With David Letterman' on August 21.
