The Brian Jonestown Massacre will release a new album later this year.
'My Bloody Underground', out on March 31, was recorded in Liverpool and Reykjavik, in August then October respectively last year.
In a statement, the retro rockers, the subject of the infamous 2004 documentary 'Dig!', promised that the new album would be “experimental” and “avant-garde”.
