A DVD documenting a 2005 tribute to Brian Wilson is set to be released in the US.

’MusiCares Presents A Tribute To Brian Wilson’ features Red Hot Chili Peppers performing ’I Get Around’, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora covering ’City Blues’, and Jeff Beck doing renditions of ’Surf’s Up’’ and ’Surfin’ USA’.

Filmed at a charity dinner honoring Wilson in 2005, the DVD also features performances from the Backstreet Boys, John Legend, Shelby Lynne and Earth, Wind and Fire as well as a five-song performance from The Brian Wilson Band.

MusiCares is an organisation providing a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need including wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies.

The 2007 MusiCares Person of the Year honoree is Don Henley, whose live tribute will take place on February 9 in Los Angeles.
