Brian Wilson added to Newport Folk Festival
Brian Wilson has been added to the lineup for the 2008 Newport Folk Festival, taking place August 1-3.

The Beach Boys legend joins Cat Power, Jim James of My Morning Jacket, The Black Crowes, Jimmy Buffett and Trey Anastasio at the event which takes place in Newport, RI.

Jakob Dylan, Steve Earle and Allison Moorer, Richie Havens, Stephen & Damian Marley, Gillian Welch, She And Him, Calexico and Kaki King will also perform during the festival, with performers taking to stages at the International Tennis Hall of Fame at the Newport Casino, and across three stages at the Fort Adams State Park.
