Equipment problems force Conor Oberst out of gig

Bright Eyes has announced that he is to pull out of his Eden Sessions performance.

The show was due to take place on July 21.

The singer has blamed the cancellation on the timing of his equipment transportation from his performance at the Benicassim Festival (which takes place from July 19-22) to Cornwall.

The singer's official statement reads: "Unfortunately, the transport of his equipment back from his performance at Benicassim will not allow for the Eden Sessions performance, as his backline simply will not be in Cornwall in time."

News of who will replace Bright Eyes on this date will follow shortly.
