We'll have full coverage of the bash this evening (February 20)

The Brit Awards begin at 8pm (GMT) tonight at London's Earls Court venue, and we’ll be giving you full coverage of events on NME.COM.

We’ll be reporting who wins, who loses and who gets up to mischief all evening, as it happens, as the nominees clench up and cross their fingers in anticipation.

It’s already been reported that Brit bosses are worried about what antics presenters Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are going to get up to at the awards, and should any interesting incidents occur we'll be the first to report it.

So check back from 8pm tonight for full coverage of the Brit Awards 2008.

In the meantime who do you think will win and who do you want to win? Post your comments below.

Brits has really lost it's appeal. The line-up of who is performing really says it all. I used to be a big fan of the brits but just have no interest. It's a case of giving the awards to whoever can be bothered to turn up. If Kylie wins best international album the brits would have confirmed that it is a joke.

I haven't spoke to one person yet who cares about the Brit Awards this year. With the exception of Paul McCartney, nobody really cares about any of these artists/bands featured. The Arctic Monkeys have got it right, just don't turn up!

What amazingly cringe-worthy TV.
I wanted to turn off as soon Mika came on but I stuck with it, there was some good nominations anyway and promise of good music.
Well for a start there was no good music, only bad miming and an awful colaboration between Klaxons and Rihanna. Then all the awards were wrong, do Take That even play instruments? No! So how can they be put up against the talent of Muse who lets not forget put on two amazing shows at Wembley Stadium last year.
After a bad hour and a half I was given some joy though, extremly pissed up Arctic Monkeys were hilarious and after the shit recent Macca single he did play a couple of greats.

God, Mika, what an awful racket that was. He simply cannot hit a single note. Ditto Ditto.
