Rapper accepts his award via pre-recorded video speech

Kanye West won the Best International Male award tonight (February 20) at the Brit Awards 2008 in London.

West was not in London to receive his award, so accepted it through a pre-recorded video.

“I’m sure there’s someone who deserves this more than me, but I just don’t know who they are,” he said. “They told me about humbleness and humility. I don’t like it, but I heard it helps people when they don’t deserve things.”

The artists also nominated for the award were Bruce Springsteen, Rufus Wainwright, Timbaland and Michael Buble.
