Sir Paul McCartney picks up special Brit award in London
Plus the ex-Beatle sings five songs to close the bash
Sir Paul McCartney was presented with an award for Outstanding Contribution To Music at the Brit Awards in London tonight (February 20), before playing a five-song set to close the ceremony.
The ex-Beatles legend kept his acceptance speech short before heading on-stage to play five songs with a live band: ‘Dance Tonight’, ‘Live And Let Die’ ‘Hey Jude’, 'Lady Madonna' and 'Get Back'.
After accepting his award from presenters the Osbourne family, Sir Paul McCartney gave brief thanks and said, “I’m gonna keep this short… I think British music is the best!”
