Katy Perry crowned Best International Female Solo Artist at the BRITs
'Ill' singer can't believe she's won the award
Katy Perry has been named Best International Female Solo Artist at the BRIT Awards tonight (February 18).
The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer said "Holy shit!" as she accepted her award from Lionel Richie, and then confessed that she almost didn't come to the event because she is ill.
"I just wanna thank everybody here in London and everyone in the UK," said Perry. "I'm so sick right now but they said I should show up to the BRITs because something special might happen."
