JLS win second Brit Award of 2010 for Best Single

Band pick up gong for their track 'Beat Again'

JLS picked up the award for British Single at the Brit Awards 2010 for their song 'Beat Again'.

The award is the group's second of the evening, which is being held in London tonight (February 16).

"Thank you to Mr Simon Cowell, thank you Simon. Without you none of this would be possible," Marvin Humes said upon collecting the award.

The category was voted for by Commercial Radio listeners and readers of The Sun.

The acts nominated for British Single were:

Alesha Dixon – 'Breathe Slow'
Alexandra Burke ft. Flo Rida – 'Bad Boys'
Cheryl Cole – 'Fight For This Love'
Joe McElderry – 'The Climb'
JLS – 'Beat Again'
La Roux – 'In For The Kill'
Lily Allen – 'The Fear'
Pixie Lott – 'Mama Do'
Taio Cruz – 'Break Your Heart'
Tinchy Stryder ft. N-Dubz – 'Number 1'
