NAME THAT TUNE!

You could feature alongside Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips on the sleeve of 'Remember Me'...

British Sea Power have announced details of new live dates - and asked fans to inscribe their names on the sleeve of their next single.

The band - currently on tour in the US - will release a re-recording of previous single 'Remember Me' on October 6, on two CD formats and seven-inch vinyl.

The seven-inch will be limited to only 2,003 copies, and each sleeve will be hand-inscribed with a single name picked by the band themselves.

While a number of personalities including Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne, head of Rough Trade Records Geoff Travis and WWII heroine Violet Szabo have already been chosen, the band are now asking fans to suggest other names - celebrities, family members or friends - to be included on the sleeves.

All names should be accompanied by a 50 word explanatory note and can be emailed to bspjamwagon@hotmail.com.
