Band donate proceeds from merchandise to North Pole cause
Brighton rockers British Sea Power are donating proceeds from a specially designed range of merchandise to an artic expedition team bearing their name.
British Sea Power Team 2008 - lead by geologist and BSP fan Gareth Ellis - will be racing other teams over a 400-mile stretch to the magnetic north pole.
The team are charged with crossing Polar Bear Pass – a migration route for hungry bears in search of food - to raise money for Polar Bear International Research and the NSPCC. British Sea Power Team 2008 T-shirts and patches are available from the band’s website.
