Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons, James Ford get 'high' with British Sea Power
Bands turn out for BSP's own festival in a pub
British Sea Power were joined onstage by super-producer and Simian Mobile Disco member James Ford at their own boutique festival on Saturday (August 30).
Ford was invited up on the stage from the crowd as part of his stag do celebrations. A star-studded affair, the party also included all of Arctic Monkeys and Klaxons in the audience.
The Nationwide Mercury Prize-nominated band's 'Sing Ye From The Hillsides!' festival took place at the Tan Hill Inn in the Yorkshire Dales. At 1,732 feet above sea level, it is the highest pub in Britain.
Taking place over the weekend, the festival featured three very different sets from BSP, as well as country rockers Sparrow And The Workshop, a tug-of-war, duck herding, husky-racing and a pub quiz.
To make the event extra-special, the band were invited by the local Dent Brewery to create their own British Sea Power beer. All profits from the beer will be donated to charity.
