BRITNEY SPEARS is getting married - and this time it's for real.
And the pop princess even popped the question to dancer Kevin Federline herself. The pair announced their engagement yesterday (June 30) in US celebrity magazine People, telling of how they enjoyed a whirlwind romance.
Describing their meeting, Spears said: "It was really beautiful and romantic and special between us. My other loves were like puppy love. They were like practice for the real thing. This is just deeper."
The speed of the romance has prompted speculation that Spears is pregnant - something she has vehemently denied. She said: "You know what? This is my life and I don't care what people think. I'm not going to get married. I'm in love with him. I love little ones, but I'm not pregnant."
Six months ago, Spears hit the headlines when she drunkenly married childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas. The marriage was annulled 55 hours later.
