Claims that Britney Spears has been put on suicide watch in the Malibu rehabilitation centre she checked herself into last week (February 23) have been denied by her manager.
As previously reported, the star is in the Promises clinic after a recent troubled spell following the breakdown of her marriage to Kevin Federline.
However, the suicide watch claims have been strongly denied by the singer’s manager Larry Rudolf, who told US entertainment news show 'Extra': “She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better.”
Meanwhile, a lawyer for Spears' estranged husband Federline cancelled an emergency hearing in a Los Angeles court which was due to take place this Thursday (February 29) concerning the custody of the couple's two children.
