Fans will have to wait for singer's comeback

Britney Spears has reportedly cancelled her live comeback gig.

As previously reported Spears was due to make her live comeback on Wednesday (May 2) at the House Of Blues on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles under the name The M+M’s.

The singer cancelled the show giving no reason, reports MSNBC.

The show was to mark her comeback following a difficult period for Spears which has included the breakdown of her marriage, a stint in rehab and the infamous hair shaving incident.

The comeback show was thought to have featured songs from the singer’s forthcoming fifth album which she’s been working on with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz and Dr Luke. The release of the album is said to be slated for this year.
