Britney Spears' marriage to Kevin Federline officially ended today (July 30) when their respective lawyers had the papers signed off in court.
Spears and Federline, who have two children together – Sean Preston and Jayden James – separated late last year, with Spears filing for divorce in November.
The pair will share joint custody of the children and according to TMZ.com will see Spears pay Federline $15,000 a month in child support. As per a pre-nuptial agreement, Federline is receiving $20,000 a month in spousal support, but that will reportedly stop in November of this year.
The couple were married for two years. Spears has been a permanent fixture in the tabloids in recent times regarding incidents ranging from bizarre behaviour on photo shoots and violent scenes involving her security team.
