New Britney Spears track to feature very personal lyrics

'Toxic' producers work on reflective song

New Britney Spears track to feature very personal lyrics

Britney Spears has referenced her turbulent recent history on one of new tracks.

'Piece Of Me' was produced by the Swedish team of Bloodshy & Avant, who worked on the singer's smash hit ’Toxic’ back in 2004.

In the track she sings: “I’m Mrs. American dream/Since I was 17…/I’m Mrs Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous/ I’m Mrs/‘Oh my God, that Britney’s shameless'/I’m Mrs. ‘Extra, extra, this just in’/ I’m Mrs ‘She’s too fat, now she’s too thin'.

At other points in the track she refers to herself as “Bad media karma” and says: “Another day, another drama/ I can’t see the harm in working hard and being a mama.”

Other new tracks include the electro, vocoder-assisted ’Radar’, ’Break The Ice’, which is said to sound like Nelly Furtado’s ’Say It Right’, and ’Heaven On Earth’, which is said to sound like Gwen Stefani’s ’Sweet Escape’, reports EW.com.
