Tabloid Hell: Britney Spears to lose custody of her kids

Britney Spears's week seems to be going from bad to worse, as it was reported today (September 18) that the singer will lose temporary custody of her children.

The newest eccentric allegation is being fired by none other than Spears' former bodyguard Tony Barretto who has accused the singer of developing "nudity, drug and safety" issues after she left her rehab centre in March.

Barretto started working for Spears after her rehab treatment but said he was fired on May 17 after he failed to hear her order "to pick up her hat".

The news is merely the latest revelation in a series of bizarre plot twists this week, which have seen both the star's lawyer and new management team bail out on her.

Lawyer Laura Wasser has decided to abandon the Spears ship and even her new management team, 'The Firm', have withdrawn their services.

In a statement issued by the company, they declared: "It saddens us to confirm media reports that we have terminated our professional relationship with Britney Spears, but current circumstances have prevented us from properly doing our job. We wish Britney the best."

According to reports in the US, Britney Spears will now be forced by authorities to hand custody of two year old Sean Preston and one year old Jayden James to their father, Kevin Federline.
