Despite her mounting personal troubles, Britney Spears has scored a hit on the US radio charts.
The pop star's new single 'Gimme More' has jumped five places to Number 20 on the Radio & Records charts this week. It's the first time she has had a song in the top 20 since 2004's 'Every Time'.
Billboard reports that 'Gimme More' also jumped nine places to Number 16 on their Pop 100 chart.
The single is expected to be released as a digital download in the coming weeks. Her as-yet-untitled new album is due out in the US on November 13.
