Tabloid Hell: Britney Spears finally gets her drivers license

The singer starts doing things by the book

Britney Spears has been granted a California driving license, after being charged with driving without a valid license.

Spears lost custody of her children on Monday, partly because she was driving without a valid license with her sons in the car.

She was also involved in a hit and run in a car park in September.

Spears was yesterday issued a temporary paper California license and will receive her permanent one at a later date.

Her ex-husband Kevin Federline today officially assumed custody of Jayden James (1) and Sean Preston (2).

Another hearing will take place today in Los Angeles, where Spears is petitioning to have custody of her sons returned to her.
