Britney to give private deposition in custody battle
Spears will give under-oath testimony today
Britney Spears is today (December 12) due to give a deposition in the ongoing custody battle over her two sons Jayden James and Sean Preston.
The singer will meet with ex-husband Kevin Federline’s attorneys at the office of Mark Vincent Kaplan to answer questions in a session that is expected to last all today.
After last week’s news that the Department of Child and Family Services were investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect, Spears will be asked many questions about her lifestyle.
The session will not be video recorded amid fears that it would be leaked so instead Spears will be accompanied by her lawyers, and a court stenographer.
Her ex-assistant Alli Simms has been deposed already, as have her former manager Larry Rudolph and her bodyguard Daimon Shippen, says E! Online.
Sam Lufti who has been at Spears’ side constantly in recent months, was due to be questioned on November 30 but missed the appointment.
