K-Fed's lawyer seeks sanctions against Britney Spears
Pop star may pay a high price for missing custody deposition
Britney Spears appears to be getting into deeper trouble every day as a result of missing her child-custody-related deposition earlier this week.
Today (December 14) the lawyer for her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, said that he plans to seek sanctions against the pop star for calling in sick to the court-ordered appointment on Wednesday (December 12), according to the Associated Press.
Spears said she missed the appointment because she was not feeling well, as previously reported, but was photographed later in the day driving with a friend. She has reportedly missed at least three deposition in recent weeks.
Spears and Federline have been involved in a custody battle for several months over their two sons, 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James.
