Britney's mum's parenting book 'delayed indefinitely'
Lynne Spears' child-raising advice put on the back burner
A parenting book by Lynne Spears, mother of Britney and Jamie Lynn has been delayed indefinitely.
The news comes in the wake of 16 year-old Jamie Lynn Spears’ pregnancy announcement yesterday (December 18).
The book entitled ‘Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World’ was to be published by Christian book publisher Thomas Nelson Inc. but was put on hold last week, said company spokesperson Lindsey Nobles.
According to the Associated Press, Nobles said "I can tell you that we are standing behind Lynne and supporting her decision to be with her family at this time."
The book was scheduled to be released on May 11 2008, which is Mother’s Day.
The father of Jamie Lynn’s baby is Casey Aldridge, her live-in boyfriend. She is an actress on Nickelodeon TV show ‘Zoey 101’.
