Paramedics and police called to home of Britney Spears

Drama unfolding at her house as she refuses to give back kids

Police were called to the Los Angeles home of Britney Spears tonight (January 3) to deal with a “family custody dispute”.

Spears was spending the day with her two sons under the supervision of a court-ordered monitor, and was scheduled to return them to their father Kevin Federline at 7pm.

However, the singer apparently refused to turn the children over Federline’s bodyguard to take them to their father’s home.

Police were called to Spears’ home in a gated community called The Summit, and Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan was also seen entering the residence.

Several ambulances, fire trucks and more police have since arrived at the pop star’s home and are currently on standby.

As previously reported, Spears finally spoke to a Los Angeles court today after missing five previous court-ordered depositions. She showed up two hours late to the court, and was subsequently questioned for just 14 minutes.

The deposition is expected to be rescheduled yet again.

Meanwhile, this evening’s events are expected to have serious repercussions on Spears’ visitation rights with her children.
