Britney Spears released from hospital
But experts say the troubled star still needs help
Britney Spears was reportedly released today (January 5) from the hospital where she was being held for psychological evaluation.
The pop star was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following a highly publicised meltdown on Thursday night (January 3), refusing to turn over her son to ex-husband Kevin Federline's bodyguard.
Daytime talkshow host "Dr. Phil" McGraw, who met with Spears and her family at the hospital this morning, said in a press release that he is "convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention".
Meanwhile, Spears' visitation rights with her two sons were suspended yesterday (January 4) following an emergency court hearing, as previously reported.
