Your music gossip stop: Kelly Osbourne, Arctic Monkeys, Dizzee Rascal

Welcome to The Daily Ligger: your morning stop-off to see who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today’s hot gossip:

Not even a flat tyre prevented Britney Spears from partying yesterday (January 8). The singer merely left her Mercedes to get towed while she and her PA got a lift home. They were back on the town in 15 minutes. (Daily Mirror)

From the papers:

Amy Winehouse has been duetting with her dad Mitch in a bid to boost her performing confidence. Apparently "her little parties at home have been giving her quite a boost". (The Sun)

Dizzee Rascal serenaded Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner with a special birthday song for his 22nd at Soho Karaoke Bar. A source said "Dizzee sang the Arctic Monkeys tune 'I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor' and everyone went mad."(The Sun)

Kelly Osbourne has been defending her friendship with Amy Winehouse saying, "I talk straight. I don’t say: 'Look Amy, you're just fantastic.' I say: 'Amy, you have a problem. I'm here when you are ready to deal with it.'" (Daily Mirror)
