Britney Spears' dad to maintain control of singer's affairs
Pop star's well being is still in doubt
Britney Spears' father will maintain coverservatorship of her affairs, a Los Angeles court commissioner announced today (February 14).
James Spears was charged with temporary responsibility for his daughter's welfare earlier this month, as well as her estate, sharing the latter duties with her attorney Andrew Wallette.
Commissioner Reva Goetz told James Spears and several lawyers that the conservatorship will remain in effect at least until a hearing scheduled for March 10, reports the Associated Press.
The commissioner also agreed to reissue a temporary restraining order against Spears' manager, Sam Lutfi, if he is not served with court papers soon, as investigators have been unable to track him down.
