Police look into alleged drugging of Britney Spears
They consider opening an official investigation
In a statement issued today (February 27), Police Captain Kyle Jackon said that the allegations "are being considered" by the Robbery-Homicide unit to determine if any laws have been broken, reports the Associated Press.
He added that no suspects have been identified yet.
Spears' mother recently claimed in court papers that the singer had been drugged and controlled by her sometimes manager and friend Sam Lufti. As a result, a restraining order was issued against him, as previously reported.
